It has now been about 4 years since Jean Rousseau and Eye eye Isuzu (famous watch retailer, partner of the most prestigious brands, in Takamatsu city of Shikoku island in Japan) started organizing bi-yearly events with Jean Rousseau crafts demonstrations of hand-stitching and allowing for bespoke watch straps and fine leather goods orders to be taken on site.
This partnership has already brought original results in the form of Nato, bund-like, straps, or limited edition of calf straps, or special effects leather articles, to full satisfaction of both Eye eye Isuzu customers and staff.
This event which has been widely advertised by Isuzu via its catalogue, releases in local press, or special invitations, always successfully attracts a connoisseur audience, either regular or new customers, seeking highest quality watch straps, perfectly fitting both their timepiece and their personality.
This was an opportunity for Eye eye Isuzu customers to have a unique strap created for a special watch or an antique watch model, choosing materials with rare colours (developed by Jean Rousseau), making unique combinations, for a watch strap that would perfectly fit the wrist of each customer.
The most popular choice is always alligator, in multiple hues and tones, for the upper part of strap, but also as a lining, in bright colour, combined with calf as upper part. It goes without saying that Japanese customers are always extremely attentive to the slightest detail….
For this November event ( 23rd to 25th), Jean Rousseau introduced 5 new exclusive colours of water resistant alligator, which nurtured numerous orders.
